As the CEC start to attend meetings, there seems to be a gap in the official comms.  Some CEC members are posting their reports, feedback and minutes from the meetings on their social media accounts, but there is no central repository for this information yet. I left this domain on ice until a need arose. It seems like a need has arisen.

Let's compile all info available about each CEC meeting. If we can encourage the CEC members to share their reports directly with me it will make this job easier and more complete.

The election results are in and we have a leadership team. Andrew Jordan (returning officer) told us that Your Party has a membership of just under 60,000. Apparently 40,985 had "verified" their memberships and could therefore vote. Of these 61.8% voted (25,347). Thanks so much for everyone who helped supply info to make this site what it was, and to everyone that got in touch to say how much they appreciated the platform. It's been such a positive project from start to finish. I'll leave the annoucement video up for a few days, then I'll make the site dormant.

The hope was to make a single list of all independent candidates for the CEC (those on neither of the two main slates). It seemed like there was plenty of information out there, but no central place for it. However, since setting up this site, the independent candidates have been released on the official Your Party site in the member area. There are frankly loads more than I expected! I am still adding anyone who emails, and am glad to provide a central platform for any independent candidate. I filter, edit and curate nothing. I just post, as is, what is sent to me. I feel this is important to say as the idea of a complete list now looks unattainable, and platforming some independents but not others was never the intention. I have no preference. Just limited capacity.

Once the endorsement stage is over at the end of the week, I'll hope that I can create the complete list of all those with 75+ endorsements, ie everyone that we will be able to vote for.
